Hi friends! It’s Karla here today to get inky! Join me as I show you how easy it is to create Tarnished Silver backgrounds with the Tattered Angels Tarnished Silver Naturally Aged Bare Metal Paint System! We will experiment on various materials and see the cool results. I’ll even show you how I don’t waste any of the extra spray to create even more backgrounds with scrap papers. You can see all the surfaces I used below, and be sure to scroll down to the VIDEO link where you can get all the details up close!
These kits are put together in a way that you can easily get amazing background effects with four Tattered Angels products. There are instructions included that are explained well and allow you to get creating fast! I grabbed a few different surfaces around my craft room to alter, ready to turn into projects at any time. Here’s a look at a painted wooden tray – now ready to hold crafty goodies or perfect to turn into a shadow box… maybe for Halloween!
Bristol cardstock is a thick white cardstock; it was great to spray, mist and paint on to create a cool background. You could use all the paper backgrounds as card bases, tags, or they would be great to use with your dies to create cool diecuts!
I love the look of the silver against the black cardstock background!
And how cool is the effect you get on a heavy weight kraft cardstock?!! I could seriously play with this kit all day!
I was really excited at how the Tarnished Silver kit worked on tiny unfinished wood veneer pieces – something I have lots of in my stash!
And I didn’t even let the overspray go to waste – it was perfect to add to random pieces of paper in my craft area. These will be great to turn into tags, backgrounds or diecuts!
Here’s a link to the VIDEO where you can see my process – and even join in with your own kit.
Here’s a look at the Tattered Angels Tarnished Silver Paint System – but there are so many awesome systems to try you may just want to check them all out in the Canvas Corp Brands Shop!
Thanks so much for stopping by! Have a happy, crafty day friends!
