In need of a small box? Grab an empty tea box and get crafting!
Crafting Vicky shares a quick video on how to upcycle an ordinary, plain box and turn it into a cool mini container.
I wanted to make a box for my youngest son and thought that it might be a great idea to alter an empty box of tea bags. I really love the look achieved as you will be able to see, it is totally transformed and doesn’t look at all like a tea box. It’s quite fun to be able to recycle, which of course makes this project very affordable. Instead of using music sheets, it could also have been old book pages. – explains Vicky.
You need as many or as few materials as you like!
Vicky used an empty cardboard tea box and:
music sheet paper
Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist – Coffee Shop
little black pieces probably game pieces to use as feet
Metal corners and handle
black gesso on the base and viva copper paint on the edges
distress ink
corrugated cardboard
velcro, brads
heat gun
