Have you ever tried Tattered Angels Mixed Media Origin papers? Oh, it’s a treat! With numerous designs, those papers are a dream come true for all crafters, not just the mixed media ones. The double sided, cotton-like papers have the feel and look of depth and texture. You can paint them, cut them, sew them… oh, the possibilities… Add some Tattered Angels mists and you have an outstanding piece of art! Just think what you could do…
Today, our Crew member, Ewelina Gryglak, is sharing with you her ‘Tattered Angel statement project’ called FREEDOM.
‘When I first saw the Mixed Media Origins paper ‘Grace’, I wanted to get several sheets straight away. I regret I didn’t! The MMO papers feel so… awesome! They look like paper and work like paper but… they feel like canvas-kind-of-thing to touch… I’m not sure how to explain that. I know one thing – they are perfect for mixed media. The amount of paint I put on the wings – any other paper would have warped and torn but not this one!’ – says Ewelina.
Materials:
Tattered Angels Mixed Media Origins Paper – Grace
Tattered Angels Simply Sheer – Dark Blue, Aqua
Tattered Angels Chalkboard – Teal High Heel, Chalk

Prima rub-on foil – Rainbow
Finnabair: Art Stones, Art Pebbles, ‘Freedom’ stamp
Craftstory.ru Harlequin stencil
Crafter’s Companion – spray glue
Tools:
hot glue gun
scissors
brushes
Here’s Ewelina’s process video:
‘I wanted to show how amazing it is to be a colourful and sparkly Tattered Angel with the freedom to create and express myself in the way I love. It’s not about being perfect but about being free to sparkle and feeling good about it. I hope that this project expresses what the feeling is about.’ – explains Ewelina.
Don’t be afraid to mix and match colours and to add some sparkle to your projects. The best thing is that the Mixed Media Origin paper can handle it all so… just go for it! And HAVE FUN!!!

[…] I have used MMO ‘Grace’ paper and a variety of blue shaded mists (chalkboards and simply sheer) – you can find links to all the products in my post on the CCB blog. […]
