Happy with texture paste!

Hi, it’s Birgit again with another post about using texture paste.

This little canvas I created for CHA using a Canvas Corp 6×6 canvas. These canvasses are not primed so you work directly on the plain canvas. Because the paints soak into the fabric you get deep and rich colors, like on cardstock. That means you get the same kind of contrast using texture paste as you would on paper. The parts where there is no texture paste will be darker and opaque while the parts with the texture paste will be more transparent.

I started with spraying some Aquamarine on the canvas, then put the  TA screen on top and covered the screen and the canvas left to the screen with texture paste. Then I sprayed with Glimmer Mists Cross my Heart, Candy Corn, Marmalade and Sun Sisters and some Chalkboard Firefly.

The word happy and the number were cut from a 7Gypsies tag, the Crystals are from Prima, the paper strip from Sassafras and the big brad came fom an old flipflop (never throw anything away!!).

Thank you for visiting the Tattered Angels blog!

Have a wonderful day, happy misting!
