Loving Card – We ♥ You Challenge

Crew Member Steph Ackerman created a sweet and loving card to remind her about her mother. She used our February Challenge “We ♥ You” as inspiration and we hope that her wonderful creation will inspire you to submit something for the challenge.

“Valentine’s Day has always been a special day for me and my mother as it was also the birthday we shared. Bonds run deep and hearts have always been part of our special day whether that be with cards or candy. With mom’s passing this day still holds a special (and a little sad) place in my heart.”

This is how Steph created the card:

step 1

Create top fold card from black cardstock. Using a paint brush, color the hearts with Fire and Strawberry Ice Mist. Spritz lace with Strawberry Ice. 

step 2

Cut heart panel to 4″ x 4″ and wrap lace around the panel. Mat with red cardstock. Add to the card.

step 3

Stamp sentiment on reverse side of heart paper. Die cut into an oval shape and mat with black cardstock. Add to card with foam adhesives.
