Meet Spring with Bright Colors! Fun home decor

All of our European Crew members (we’re sure they’re not the only ones!!!) are eagerly awaiting Spring time and at Canvas Corp Brands, we have plenty of products that will help you prepare your home for the day when it finally comes. Viktoriya Porechnaya put them in action and prepared a gorgeous colourful and fun home decor to make her statement

We miss the sun, birds and bright colors, we miss Spring so much! But all we can do for now is add some spring touches to our home and hope it’s going to arrive soon! I used bird images from Tattered Angels Mixed Media Origins mini art, colored them with Glimmer Mists and then made some super-bright frames for them. The colored branches are a great addition, especially that I made them match my frames! I hope it won’t be long before I get to see the bright colours in the nature outside!

Tattered Angels Mixed Media Mini Origins Mini Art – Song Birds
Tattered Angels Decor &DIY Paint – Ivory, Jade
Tattered Angels Chalkboards Mist – Polka Dot Pink, Alaskan Salmon
Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist – Tutti Frutti, Dried Lavender, Aquamarine, Sun Sisters
Round wooden frames
Branches and plastic bottle to use as a vase
Glue, Scissors, Brushes, Sponges

Choose your favorite birds and colored them with Glimmer Mists – they will look lively and beautiful!

While your birds dry, color wooden frames in matching colors. I don’t have any yellow or pink acrylic paints, only Jade and Ivory Decor & DIY paints, so I created these colors by mixing Ivory paint and Chalkboards Mists – Polka Dot Pink for pink and Alaskan Salmon for dark yellow/orange. You will need two or three coats of the paints for great color

Make sure both the birds and the frames are completely dry before you commence on the second step.
Glue the frames onto the bird pictures then cut them out.

At first, I only had an idea about the frames, but then I saw some dried branches and it was: O! I need to color them too!!

The next question was where would I keep the colorful branches so I took a plastic juice bottle and Decor&DIY Ivory paint and… voila!
