Secret garden canvas

Hello! Veronika Galenko here and his time I made a project following a theme “Grow” – it’s a colorful, secret garden canvas, where amongst the beautiful florals, you can find your own secret door. What will you see in my garden? Beautiful flowers, birds and animals – all of these creations live in there. I think every human has his own secret garden with one door for just themselves. Everyone needs such a place to be safe, to think or to be only with themselves.

Products used:
Canvas Corp – Stretched Canvas 8×10
Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist – Bittersweet, Sugar Maple, Mantis, London Fog, Key Lime Pie, Vintage Pink, Alaskan Salmon
Tattered Angels Glimmer Glaze – Desert Sun
Architextures™ Treasures – Distressed Wooden Doors
Texture paste, gel medium
copper paint and a lot of The Robin’s Nest dew drops
stencils and palette knife

Process:

I covered the canvas with medium, dry well and take a palette knife and stencils.

Dry well and add doors from Architextures™ Treasures – Distressed Wooden Doors.

Paint canvas with your Tattered Angels Glimmer Mists.

Add metallic and plastic embelishments and paper flowers.

In my secret garden you can find a lot of birds.

Cover all plastic elements with copper paint.

Add Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist – Alaskan Salmon to all flowers.

Add Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist – Alaskan Salmon to some parts of canvas.

Add The Robin’s Nest dew drops and some rhinestones.

Beautiful mind keeps its garden in perfect condition and nurtures everything to grow beautifully; an angry mind can destroy it without even realising it. So make sure you’re happy and keep your thoughts beautiful!
