Love making and giving handmade cards, well here is a fun twist as these cards start with adding color, glitter and glimmer anywhere you like and then layering with textures of fabric to create simply beautiful hand painted cards. Sanna shows us how she created an assortment of cards you can send out right away or keep for special occasions or when someone needs a little cheering up.
This project begins with Canvas Corp The Watering Can: Seed Packets on Ivory, this beautiful paper features 6 vintage floral images and 6 different sentiments. The can be cut to create 6 4″x6″ cards.
With a paint brush watercolor the background with your Mist color of choice. Glimmer Mist and Chalkboard will give you color and glimmer and Simply Sheer and Baseboard are just color and no glimmer. No need to add water just shake, pour into a small cup and begin painting. Let some of the paint puddle and this will give you a true watercolor look.
Next watercolor your leaves, you can use one color or variegate your leaves with a few different colors of green.
Now color your flowers in with your favorite pink Mist and let them dry completely.
Now it is time to add the glitter with Glimmer Glam. This special paint is one of our favs and can be used on its own or painted on top of your watercolor or painted art. With a brush add the Glam anywhere you would like. Glam comes in a wide range of colors, so add a little or add a lot, creativity let’s you do anything you would like.
After the cards are completely dry you are ready to finish each card by layering behind them your choice of burlap pieces to coordinate with your cards. The burlap in colors is a great pop of color and texture. Use more than one color or
Choose one color that just pops.
This collection of cards is so pretty you might want to keep one for you and frame it to remind you to think Happy Thoughts.
Happy Creating!!!

No offense, but someone should proof read your post(s). Many places in this post show “you” instead of “your”. Otherwise, nice cards.
