Spirit Treasures Journal #RACCBMatchup

Welcome to another FABULOUS DAY of this month’s matchup with Relics and Artifacts.
Today we have CCB Crew Member Gina Ahrens sharing her Spirit Treasures Journal.

Gina shares HER THOUGHTS….

I spread out all the interesting bits from my package and they just spoke to me. I immediately envisioned a grungy interesting layered journal. I was interested to see if the Relics and Artifacts could be layered one on top of the other….and they can. The paints I felt worked well coloring the resin pieces and the Architextures along with the other materials combined to make an interesting journal.

I used the paints and sprays from the kit to distress some of the burlap.

I used the paints and sprays to paint the Relics and Artifacts Spirit Treasures after I removed the eye pins and layered the resin pieces on top of each other with glue.

I layered fabrics, tags, the Relics and Artifacts along with the Architextures on the journal cover.

I used the papers and fabrics along with the packaging and envelopes to create a signature for the journal.

I tied the signature in securely with a three hole pamphlet stitch.

I added some of the extra bits and pieces to the inside of the journal.
