Spring project – Bunny reverse canvas

Hi everyone! I’m Irit Shalom and today, I have for you an easy to make and yet fancy Spring project.
All you need are two pieces of Origins paper and a lot of Tattered Angels Glimmer mists, but you don’t need any special colorong skills as it’s just misting around with a minimum inside coloring. Also I used some stencils with texture paste over the canvas frame these who doesn’t want to wait till the texture paste dries can skip this step and just to paint the frame in a couple of colors. I stamped the butterflies, but it can be also die cut or just add some pre made butterfy embellishments.

Tattered Angles Glimmer Mist – Wedding Pink, Kiwi, Aquamarine,  Dragonfly, Italian Sunset, Limeade, Tutti Frutti
Tattered Angles Decor & Diy paint – Ivory
Canvas Corp – Stretched Canvas
Stamps- BoBunny
Ink- Tsukineko
Stencils- non branded
Texture Paste
Art Stones- Prima
Embossing powder- WOW!

Paint the “frame” with Ivory paint.

Cut a large rectangular piece from Mixed Media Origins – Nature to fit inside the reverse canvas.

Use texture paste and stencils to embellish the ” frame” of the reverse canvas and let it dry.

Stamp butterflies with black pigment ink and heat emboss with clear powder.
Hand cut some leaves and flowers from the Mixed Media Origins paper.

Mist the canvas with a mix of TA mists. Begin with blues, move to greens and so on.

Mist the hand cut, stamped butterflies and flowers.

Arrange all pieces inside the canvas and glue some on the frame as shown.

Add some small art stones inside the frame to cover the paint and paper gaps.

Add some more Glimer Mist as a paint over the paper images inside the frame.
