Spring is in full swing with flowers blooming and birds chirping their happy songs. Canvas Corp has a Spring Showers collection put together to celebrate this time of the year. With black-and-white 12×12 papers full of images of nature and spring sayings, you can use the elements you want and colour them at your heart’s desire or… leave them just as they are; they will be just as effective.
Our Crew member, Steph Ackerman used the papers to make a spring-inspired wall hanging for her home; she decided to colour some of the images, too. Take a look…
‘Spring is finally coming to New York, the flowers are starting to appear and the birds are chirping. I wanted to create something for my craft room reminding me that Spring is almost here. The lovely glazes and stained glass paints provided nice translucent colors to my images.’ – explains her inspiration Steph.

You can use the board to hold PostIts with daily reminders or pin important notes. You can also leave it as is for a touch of spring in your kitchen or hall.
It’s an easy-to-make project with your kids on a cloudy afternoon – give each of them a wooden plank and papers and see where their imagination takes them. What an amazing way to spend some quality family time!
