Ever struggled with the idea of throwing away some of the old toys that have not been used for ages?
Angelique Jarrier has an idea for you on how to use up the old puzzle pieces that have been gathering dust somewhere in the corner! Just grab some TA paints and … go for it!
This is how Angelique created this unusual wall decoration which at the same time serves as a photo display.
Hello, today I offer a very quick and easy project. So simple, I realized this with my children.
Therefore a project with your family, for a special occasion, my mom’s birthday. I wanted a few things unique, handmade and with love.
My mom loves puzzles and interior decoration. So I worked around this idea, to create his project.
I decide to use an old window frame in wood as support for my project. And to create through parts of puzzles of picture frames.
The first step is to create four templates of a heart shape. One large and three small of the same sizes. A little trick to create a symmetrical template: simply draw one side of our heart, cut, and fold it.
This step will be repeated for each heart. You have to take into consideration the drying time of the glue before painting. First, without using the glue, arrange the puzzle pieces on the outline of the heart. On the first layer of puzzles pieces, place a second layer; this time you need to glue this layer to the bottom one . Do the same with the third layer.
Once dry, we can paint our hearts. I chose red as the color of love, and gray to provide contrast.
Cut your photos to fit the heart frames.
Once the photo is in, add a backing to secure it. Add a small cord loop to be able to hang the heart.
What an extremely cute and unique way of displaying photos of your loved ones!
