Steph Ackerman is our Wings On Wednesday designer this week and she has for you an altered banner pendant, which she turned into a winged heart. Interesting, isn’t it?!
Let’s see all the Tattered Angels paints in action!!!
I love to mix and match materials. Many times, I create different elements then put them aside until I find the right project to use them with. I created a pair of clay wings and put them aside. When I found this heart, I thought it would be a nice backdrop for a pair of wings.
Materials used:
Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist – Copper Token, Red Chillies, Pearl
Tattered Angels High Impact Paint – Gray, Copper, Rose Gold
Tattered Angels Stained Glass – Hot Pink
Tattered Angels Chalkboard – Priority
Tattered Angels Baseboard – Fire
Tattered Angels Glimmer Glam – Twinkle Toes
Canvas Corp Cord – Hemp Rope – Black
Makin’s white clay and Clay mold
Flower, Rhinestone Stickers
Adhesive, Paint brush
Paint heart with Gray High Impact Paint, adding some “tooth” to the heart.
Once dry, add touches of Copper High Impact Paint.
Spritz with Tattered Angels Red Chillies and Copper, heat setting between each color.
Spritz with Fire and Priority, heat setting between each color.
Mold wings using white clay. Paint with Rose Gold High Impact Paint.
Paint some Twinkle Toes Glimmer Glam to the centers of each.
Paint edges of wings with Hot Pink Stained Glass.
Spritz Pearl Glimmer Mist on heart, then adhere the wings.
Paint flower with touches of Rose Gold High Impact Paint, then adhere between the wings. .
Place rhinestone stickers and tie hemp as a hanger.
Your winged heart is ready.
