Creative Crew Member, Evelyn Walter, created a funky Art Journal spread using a selection of her favorite Tattered Angels mediums together with bits & bobs from her stash.
The inspiration behind this project is our January Challenge. This month our challenge is based on a popular topic – Word of the Year! Facebook captured your top used words quite uniquely, but do you have a word that speaks to you for the upcoming year or maybe one that you started 2016 with and it took you to new places? We want you to share your new word for the new year, or you may want to share your word for 2016 and tell us if you followed through with it over the past 12 months.
Entries are being accepted up until February 5th, and we will pick one winner from all the entries to win a $25 Gift Certificate for the Canvas Corp Brands Online Store.

Hello and happy New Year everybody! For our January Challenge “Word of the Year”, I made an Art Journal page.
As I want to 2017 to be a better year, I have to make some changes in my daily life. I reviewed the last year and had to admit, that I didn’t treat myself, my body and my soul the way they deserve it. So I decided to change some things, but not suddenly and all at once – that’s the biggest killer of resolutions I think. No, I will do it step by step – mindfulness is the key.
Mindfulness – yes, this is my word for this year! I firmly believe that many things will turn out better!
