Feathers are one of the most versatile and cheap items you can use for your craft projects. But not only can you use real feathers, they can be stamped, painted, sewn or croched – you can find feathers in all shapes and techniques on craft projects browsing trought the Internet or craft magazines. Today Crew Member Chris Olson-Pozzi show her interpretation of our April Challenge “Feathers”.
Chris tell us: I loved the colors of this month’s challenge! I was inspired to add my Dream Catcher stamp, I just love how the card turned out!
You will need these products from Canvas Corp Brands:
Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist – Festival
Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist – Patina
Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist – Dried Lavendar
Tattered Angels Chalkboard Mist – Splash
Chris guides us trough how she made this project:
Step 1: Stamp Dream Catcher and add Embossing Powder. Heat Emboss. Stamp feathers and beads onto Dream Catcher and emboss.
Step 2: Mist the background with Tattered Angels Glimmer Mists and then splatter the background with Tattered Angels Chalkboard Mist.
Step 3: Stamp sentiment and feathers. Heat emboss and then Mist to match the background. After a bit of drying it is time to assemble the Card.
