‘Enjoy every moment’ – canvas

Sometimes, the creative muse strikes and you just have to make something pretty!
And the most important thing about it is to ENJOY EVERY MOMENT!

Our Crew member, Viktoriya Porechnaya reminds us how important the enjoyment is in her delicate, feathery, watercolour canvas.

‘I wanted to make spring canvas with white doves and feathers as a symbol of peace and freedom. I hope this project will remind everyone to love this world and enjoy every moment in life!’ – says Viktoriya.

Materials Used:
Tattered Angels Glimmer Mists: Aquamarine, Electric Blue, Dried Lavender, Gold
Tattered Angels Decor&DIY: Ivory
7gypsies Architextures Tall Base: Feathers
Texture paste
Glue
Feathers
Flowers, branches
Glass drops
Feather chipboards

Tools:
Brush
Stencils
Palette knife
Sponge
Glue gun

Apply Decor&DIY paint through the first stencil using a sponge. Let it dry. This will create a delicate layer of cover and will cause the mists to react differently with the canvas.

Paint the base with Glimmer mists; use a brush to blend the colours and create a beautiful background.

Add 7gypsies Architectures Short Base – Feathers.

Apply texture paste through your second stencil for extra texture. Dry it with a heat gun.

Colour the feather chipboards using the same Glimmer Mists you have used for the background.

Time to create the centerpiece – at first using hot-glue gun, attach some twigs and flowers.

Next, glue on white feathers and a cardboard which will serve as a base for the photo.

Add your chosen phrase and any other details. Attach the photo using double-sided tape.

Apply gesso or white acrylic paint on flowers, branches etc and, when dry, correct/enhance any colouring with mists.

Finally, add splashes of paint and glass drops around the design.
