Christmas is long gone but, with the beginning of the year being usually quite a busy time, you probably have some photos from the festive period lying around waiting to be scrapped. ‘Christmas is in past so it is time to create layouts and make project life sets with holiday photos. For this project, I made three layouts (one with video tutorial which you can watch below) and a spread for my project life album. All layouts are made with matching up colors of the photos and papers. I used the Canvas Corp Holiday Miscellanies paper collection, as the papers have clean bright colors, and are very easy to combine with classic Christmas photos in traditional reds, greens, gold. For the project life spread, I used the same collection, just cut out to fit the size of the pockets – it’s a way of saving you money on the pocket life cards, too. I added some accents with pieces of Natural Canvas; I love the look 🙂 By the way, I used a regular jet printer to print “2017” on the canvas. It’s really easy and fun!’ – Tatiana

You can use any of the Canvas Corp Holiday Miscellanies for this project – cut the to size, layer, fussy cut…anything you can think of!
The colours work so perfectly together. You can add dimension to the layouts by building paper clusters – tracing paper and fussy cut embellishments are perfect for that.
White gesso and Tattered Angels mists will add another layer of colour. You can spray or sprinkle them on your page before adding the photo.
Handwritten or typed-up journalling will add the personal touch and make the memories last forever.
