If you only have a tiny bit of free time in these busy days before Christmas, this idea for you! You don’t need many materials at all – all you need are some cookie cutters from your kitchen, Canvas Corp cardstock and scrapbook papers. It’s will be fun and simple to make this extraordinary wreath for your home! – says Viktoriya Porechnaya about her last minute Christmas holiday baking wreath, an extremely cute addition to your festive home decor.
Materials used for the wreath:
Canvas Corp Holiday Baking Mix and Match Pad
Canvas Corp Farmhouse Christmas Snowflake Reverse on Kraft Paper
Canvas Corp E-Flute Kraft
Canvas Corp Cord – Hemp Rope Hank – Red
Thick cardboard
White acrylic paint
Cookie cutters
Wooden details (deers, snowflakes, etc.)
Glue, Scissors, Craft Knife
Choose various shape cookie cutters and glue them to different scrapbook papers from Holiday Baking Mix and Match Pad. Cut them out. They will be the main elements of your wreath.
Cut a big circle from thick cardboard. It will be the base of your wreath. Then use a small plate to outline the smaller, inside circle and cut it out with a craft knife.
Use E-Flute cardstock and Snowflake Reverse on Kraft paper for front and back sides of the wreath.
Place cookie cutters around the wreath and attach them with glue.
Cut some stars from E-flute cardstock and add them to wreath.
You can cut some Christmas patterns too.
Add wooden details like deer and snowflakes for decorating; use red cord for a bow and hanging loop.
Adding touches of white paint is a good idea, too.
Here is my finished wreath – it will be the centre piece of my kitchen all this Christmas.
Where will you hang yours?
