Make your own Christmas Cards with CCB

If you still haven’t done your Christmas card shopping yet and would prefer to send something more personal this year – this post is just what you need.
Today, we have Steph Ackerman sharing her handmade Christmas cards.
Using the colourful and cheerful papers from Canvas Corp Jolly Christmas collection, she has created 4 beautiful cards that will put anyone in the holiday mood. 

 

Christmas Quick and Easy Cards

I wanted to create some quick and easy Christmas cards for some children and the Jolly Christmas papers were perfect to use for these cards. – shares Steph about the first set of cards.

Products use for the cards:
Canvas Corp Red on White Cardstock

Canvas Corp Black on White Cardstock
Canvas Corp Jolly Christmas on White
Canvas Corp Jolly Christmas Sayings
Canvas Corp Natural Burlap
Tattered Angels High Impact Paint – Red
Tattered Angels Glimmer Glaze – Saffron, PewterSweet Pea
Tattered Angels Baseboard – Sunburst, Clay
Trimmer, Scissors
Die cut machine, Dies, Embossing Folder
Paint brush, Ink

Cut and corner round black cardstock. Spritz with Clay and Sunburst mists.

Using a premade card as your base, cut red cardstock to fit and adhere the spritzed black cardstock on top. Add a die cut burlap circle.

Fussy cut the cup of cocoa and cookies and paint it with Saffron Glaze. Once dry, paint the mug with Clay.

Adhere the mug to a fussy cut tag from Jolly Christmas Sayings and add to the card with foam adhesives. Add a fussy cut cookie to the corner.
Your first card is done!

Now onto the second card…
Cut red cardstock to fit card and emboss with a Christmassy design.

Ink the embossed panel to add dimension to the raised elements and add a panel of burlap on top.

Fussy cut the truck and paint it with Sunburst, Saffron and Pewter mists.
Paint Santa’s bag with Red High Impact Paint and Clay mist.

Fussy cut a phrase from Jolly Christmas Sayings and together with the gift bag attach to the card with foam adhesives.
You’re done!

 

Merry and Bright Christmas Cards

I love the papers in the Jolly Christmas line. These papers make beautiful Christmas cards. You have so many options to use the papers “as is” or decorate them to make them uniquely yours. Tattered Angels Glazes add amazing color to these papers. – says Steph.

For the second set of cards, Steph used:
Canvas Corp Red on White Cardstock

Canvas Corp Black on White Cardstock
Canvas Corp Jolly Christmas on White
Canvas Corp Jolly Christmas Sayings
Canvas Corp Jolly Christmas All Wrapped Up Rev
Canvas Corp Natural Burlap
Canvas Corp Cord – Black
Tattered Angels High Impact Paint – Red
Tattered Angels Glimmer Glaze – Saffron, PewterSweet Pea
Tattered Angels Baseboard – Sunburst, Clay
Trimmer, Scor-Pal, Scissors
Embossing Folder, Paint brush
Ink, Ribbon
Foam Adhesives, Stamps from Joy Clair

Cut All Wrapped Up paper and selectively color with Red High Impact Paint, Saffron Glimmer Glaze and Sweet Pea Glaze.

Stamp your chosen sentiment on white cardstock. Ink and mat with red cardstock.
Cut burlap slightly bigger than sentiment and adhere to the panel.

Using Scor-Pal, create a card from black cardstock. Mat painted panel with red cardstock and add to card with foam adhesives for dimension.
Your card is finished!

Select and fussy cut stocking and candy cane from Jolly Christmas paper.
Paint them with Red High Impact Paint, Pewter and Saffron Glimmer Glaze and Sweet Pea Glaze.

Emboss red cardstock with music embossing folder. Spritz with Sunburst.

Using Scor-Pal, create a card from black cardstock. Ink embossed panel and mat with black cardstock.

Wrap ribbon around the card and tie off with black cord. Add embossed panel to card with foam adhesives.
Top it up with candy cane and stocking to panel. Ink the phrase, mat with red and black cardstock.
Add to card with foam adhesives.

Now all your cards are ready for writing some holiday wishes and sending off to your nearest and dearest!
