From time to time we like to invite one of our followers to be a Guest Designer for a month and in Augustour Challenge prize was to be our Guest Designer for a month. Where are you from?
Dalarna – in the middle of Sweden.
How would you describe your design style?
Oh… kind of anything from very CAS to Mixed Media. I love to create in different ways.
How long have you been creating?
Since 1995 – I started with a few rubber stamps.
What is your go to product right now?
Like something you use all the time? The MISTI for stamping and Mists and Acrylics for Mixed Media.
Do you have a signature touch you like to include in all your pieces?
I have no idea, but I don’t think so? I just create whatever is on my mind.
What advice would you give to someone who gets in a creative slump?
Either just wait until it’s over, rest and enjoy something else. OR – just do it! Just start create and do whatever is in front of you. It doesn’t matter if it ends up in the trash – you have started!
What is the oddest inspiration you have used for one of your projects?
I’m afraid I’m not that odd… I love the ordinary things and the not so odd things starts up my brain just perfect.
Tell us one thing that people might not know about you.
I once had over 40 pet birds. Cockatiels and Budgies. Loved it and miss it much sometimes. I still LOVE Birds…
How often do you create?
Not every day, but several times a week.
Do you jot down your ideas before you do them or do you create as you go?
Sometimes, but most of the times my project creates themself during the way…
