New Release – Tattered Angels Shimmers

We love to share new things and we know the Tattered Angels Team has been working behind the scenes on a new paint that you are going to LOVE.  The new collection is called Shimmers and that is just what it does. 

Shimmers are liquid watercolor paints that are filled with pigment, matching mica and water.  Together they watercolor beautifully.  They are presented in the same cool little bell bottle as Glimmer Glaze, complete with a brush so you can watercolor on the go!

There are a total of 21 colors in the Shimmers Collection, swatched  here on the new Tattered Tangles Swatch Card Paper.

We chose our palette by starting with the color wheel. Then we added some additional neutral and metallic colors, shown here on the new Tattered Tangles Color Wheel Paper.

First came the primary colors: Red Shimmers, Blue Shimmers and Yellow Shimmers.

Then the Secondary Colors followed: Green Shimmers, Orange Shimmers and Purple Shimmers. You can also mix the primary colors to make your own colors.

We also have Tertiary Colors: Red/Orange Shimmers, Red/Purple Shimmers, Blue/Green Shimmers, Blue/Purple Shimmers, Yellow/Green Shimmers, Yellow/Orange Shimmers.

Our Neutrals/Metallics are: Brown, Copper, Bronze, Black, Grey, Silver, Goldenrod, Brass and Gold. You can blend and mix these base colors to create thousands of different colors and tones.

Blend them all together to create amazing colors, blends and combinations.  Use colors from one side of the color wheel or venture off and use complimentary colors.

Shimmers are the perfect choice for Adult Coloring (Adult Coloring with a Brush) to bring out the art in this amazing Canvas Corp 12×12 Printed Cardstock Paper – Spring Flowers Rev on Ivory.

Same great black and white paper and you can paint it so many different ways, like the one Shannon Green created below. Stunning!!!!

Many of us who love to adult color simply close the book when the coloring is done.
