You probably have some close friends…people that you appreciate, love and care for. People who are not your family but not far from it. Today we share these cute pendants that you can easily make with patterned papers from almost any of our collections. These will be an appreciated gift for your friend…a little treasure to celebrate your friendship.
You only need just a few items – patterned papers, something to paint with, bezels, and some sort of jewelry making resin. We used these papers that you can find in the Canvas Corp Brands Online Store:
Spring Showers Butterfly on Ivory
Mixed Media Orgins: Wings
The images where cut out from the patterned papers then fitted in the bezels, painted, and sealed with Diamond Resin to get a hard, durable cover.
This moth cut out from the Butterfly on Ivory paper was painted with Tattered Angels Glimmer Mists in the colors “Dried Lavender”, “Dragonfly”, “Walnut Gold” & “Fully Purple”.
The two piece below were made by combining Tattered Angels Chalkboard Mist “Polka Dot Pink” & Tattered Angels Simply Sheer “Pink”. By blending with water you get the right shading.
The delicate lily petals were colored with Simply Sheer “Aqua” with water added for blending. You can use a water brush or a fine brush dipped into water. The stamen was colored with Baseboard Mist “Leaf” & the center of the lily with Baseboard Mist “Daffodil”.
Yellow flowers make us think of Spring. We colored this piece with Glimmer Mists “Marigold”, “It´s Orange” & “Crushed Shells”.
